Steel Fell - 19-07-23

Our first walk in a few weeks sees us take the long, steep climb to the summit of Steel Fell, just outside of the village of Grasmere. Standing at 1814 ft, Steel Fell is part of the Central fell range. It's easily accessible with plenty of free parking on the A591, just outside of Grasmere. It's a non-technical walk, with a well defined path - anyone can climb this fell. The stunning views are the reward, and well worth the effort that it takes to get up there.
