🍌🍐🍓RECIPES 🥦🍇🥕 DAY 1 BORANI: YOU WILL NEED 2 eggplants 1 1/2 tsp sweet paprika 4 tbsp cooking oil Cut the eggplants into evenly thick slices and toss with the spices and oil. Then place on a baking sheet and bake at 200°C (390°F) for 35-40 minutes. Turn over after about 30 minutes. For the tomato salsa: 1 onion 2 cloves garlic 500g chopped tomatoes 2 tsp tomato paste 1-2 tbsp sweet paprika Salt & pepper Finely chop the onion and garlic and sauté in a pan with a little oil. Then add the tomatoes and spices and simmer for a few minutes. For the yogurt: 350g Greek yogurt Zest of half a lemon 1 clove of garlic Salt Mix the yogurt in a bowl with the lemon zest, finely chopped garlic, and a pinch of salt. Let it sit for at least 15 minutes. To serve, sprinkle with finely chopped parsley. Done! 😊 DAY 2: BAGEL: 500g all-purpose flour and extra flour for dusting 1 packet of active dry yeast (or ½ cube of fresh yeast) 2 tbsp sugar 2 tsp salt 100ml milk 170ml lukewarm water 2 tbsp cooking oil 1 egg Some poppy seeds, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, and sesame seeds Mix the flour and active dry yeast in a bowl. Add the sugar, salt, and milk. Add 170 ml warm water and cooking oil and knead the ingredients with the dough hooks of a hand mixer for 5 minutes until a smooth dough forms. Cover and let rise for approximately 60 minutes. Knead the bagel dough again on a lightly floured work surface. Divide the dough into 8 portions and shape them into balls. Using the handle of a wooden spoon, poke a hole in the center of each ball and stretch it slightly to create a hole approximately 3 cm in diameter. Place the bagels on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving space between them, and let rest, covered, for approximately 30 minutes. Preheat the oven to 200°C (180°C fan-forced). Bring a wide pot of water to a boil. Remove the pot of boiling water from the heat. Place two bagels at a time into the simmering water and let them cook for approximately 30 seconds on each side. Carefully remove the bagels with a slotted spoon and place them back on the parchment paper. ... Brush the bagels with the beaten egg and sprinkle with your choice of toppings. Bake in the oven for about 20 minutes and let cool completely. GYROS BOWL: Tzatziki Recipe: Cucumber 350g Greek yogurt 2 cloves of garlic Salt 2 tbsp olive oil Finely grate the cucumber. Add a little salt and let it sit for about 15 minutes. Squeeze out the excess liquid and discard the juice or use it for something else. Mix the Greek yogurt with the cucumber. Press in the garlic; you can use more or fewer cloves depending on your taste. Season with olive oil, pepper, and salt. Please make sure you use actual Greek yogurt, as it is thicker and has a higher fat content than regular yogurt! For the bowl: Rice 1 block of feta cheese Cherry tomatoes Cucumber Veggie gyros Lettuce Simply arrange everything on a plate. Done! 😊 DAY 3: Potato fritters: 150 g zucchini 250 g potatoes 1 onion 1 egg 2-3 tbsp flour Some Parmesan cheese Salt, pepper Wash the zucchini. Peel the onion and potatoes. Finely grate the zucchini, onion, and potatoes, let them sit for 5 minutes, place them in a clean kitchen towel, and squeeze out the excess liquid. Add the egg and flour to the vegetables and mix well. Season with salt and pepper. Heat oil in a non-stick frying pan. For each fritter, add 1-2 tbsp of the mixture to the pan and flatten slightly. Fry for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
