On Monday 6th July 2026, we visited the second phase of the West Midlands Metro Black Country Valley extension between Merry Hill shopping centre and Dudley Flood Street and filmed at Merry Hill, Waterfront, Pedmore Road, Cinder Bank and Flood Street. Much work is progressing around Merry Hill and Dudley, Flood Street in readiness for this next phase. As yet, funding for the continuation from Merry Hill to Brierley Hill has to be agreed.
