Niesengrat Ridge Hike T5+ | Challenging Scramble from Niesen to Mäggisserenhorn and down to Frutigen

21 kilometers of pure alpine adrenaline! 🏔️🔥 Join me on one of the most challenging and scenic ridge traverses in the Bernese Alps—the legendary Niesengrat. Starting from the iconic pyramid of Niesen, we push south along a technical ridge that includes T3, T4, and serious T5+ scrambling sections. The highlight of this adventure is the Fromberghorn North Ridge, a section that requires absolute focus, a head for heights, and solid scrambling skills. From there, we continue over Drunegalm, Standhore, and Tschipparällehore, eventually reaching Mäggisserehore before a long descent to Frutigen. 📊 Tour Details: 🏔️ Route: Niesen – Fromberghorn – Drunegalm – Niesengrat – Mäggisserehore – Frutigen. 🧗‍♂️ Difficulty: T5+ (Exposed scrambling & technical ridge terrain). 📏 Distance: ~21 km of high-altitude hiking. ⚠️ Warning: This route is for experienced alpinists only.
