Brunswick Square Mall in East Brunswick, NJ
This mall opened up in 1970. There used to be a Bamberger’s here which later turned into Macy’s in 1986. JCPenney opened up here in 1973. In 1999, Barnes & Noble came here as well as several eateries that were incorporated into the movie theater here that is now AMC Theatres. They renovated the mall in the year 2000. The mall was sold later on to Paramount Realty and decided to convert it into an open-air shopping center. Macy’s will be closed here in 2027 and will be replaced most likely by a different retailer. #DeadMall #Retail #BrunswickSquareMall #Macys #JCPenney #BarnesAndNoble #EastBrunswick #NJ
