MINI MALL TOUR: Hempstead Plaza - Somerset, NJ (ABANDONED)

Welcome to my video of the long-abandoned Hempstead Plaza in Somerset, New Jersey. This was a small community plaza/mini mall built for the residents of the neighboring Hempstead Gardens apartment complex, but has since been abandoned. I am not sure when the last tenant in the interior mall portion closed, but what I can tell you is that Google Street View shows very few cars in the parking lot in 2007, and no cars in 2011 onward. So that leads me to believe this was mostly vacated from 07-11. I showed up here not knowing if there even was anything left to see, but found a propped open door leading into a very spooky and small mini mall. YouTuber TD3 was here in 2022 but unfortunately missed the mall portion, so I'm glad I was able to document this place before it is inevitably demolished. Thanks for watching!
