SUPERMAN Wasn't Ready For This Paint Job - SuperMobile Restoration

Today we’re restoring this vintage Corgi Superman Supermobile for Ed 😄 This thing honestly wasn’t in terrible shape when it arrived, but the glass was badly scuffed, the graphics were worn out, the silver details had faded away, and the original stickers were long gone. So for this restoration we stripped the body, custom mixed a proper Superman blue paint from scratch, recreated all the original graphics using homemade decals and vinyl masks, repaired and polished the glass, restored the silver cannons and nose cone details, and brought the whole thing back to life with fresh clear coat and vibrant colors. Honestly, the homemade decals ended up being one of the coolest parts of the entire project. I had an absolute nightmare getting the printer scaling to behave properly, but once everything finally lined up… the little Superman logos turned out awesome.
