Sakaiminato, Japan | Diamond Princess

Join Pat and Amy from Rocks to Reefs as we explore Sakaiminato, Japan, during our Diamond Princess cruise! Our day begins on Mizuki Shigeru Road, where the streets are filled with bronze yokai statues, colorful characters, themed shops, and plenty of monsters inspired by the famous manga artist Mizuki Shigeru. We also visit the Mizuki Shigeru Museum to see even more of his strange and fascinating creatures. Next, we take a taxi across the famously steep Eshima Ohashi Bridge to beautiful Yuushien Garden. After enjoying the peaceful scenery, ponds, and traditional Japanese landscaping, we return to Sakaiminato to explore a local seafood market.
