1958 D'Angelico New Yorker Special 1000 - It could Happen to you

Hey guys, big day today as it marks the arrival of the first cutaway D'Angelico on the channel. I'm playing a quick version of the jazz standard composed in 1943 by Jimmy Van Heusen with lyrics by Johnny Burke called It could Happen to you. The guitar is a 1958 D'Angelico New Yoker Special 1000 (17 inches, short scale, X braced). The guitar is strung with Thomastik flatwound strings gauge 11s, i'm using a Dunlop 0,71mm pick and the sound is captured by both a AEA R84A active ribbon microphone and a Neumann TLM 103. I’m selling most of my collection, more info on https://www.jazzguitar.be/forum/sale/... I still have room for a couple of student for online classes so hit me up if you're interested.
