The things we did last summer - Jazz ballad on a vintage D'Angelico Excel

Hey guys, very cool standard on the menu today, composed in 1946 by Sammy Cahn and Jule Styne called The things we did last summer. I think most people can identify to those teenagers love story that lasts only a few weeks. I'm playing a 1942 D'Angelico Excel, strung with Thomastik Benson nickel roundwound strings gauge 12. If you want to hear the difference with flats please click on the video suggested at the end of this one, Summertime on that very same guitar but with D'Addario chrome flats 12s. I'm using a Dunlop 0.71mm pick and the sound is captured by both a AEA R84A ribbon microphone and a Neumann TLM 103. If you want to hear the difference I still have room for a couple of student for online classes so hit me up if you're interested.
