Viper's Dream - 1958 D'Angelico New Yorker Special

Hey guys, Viper's Dream is a tune often played in the gypsy jazz repertoire as Django Reinhardt recorded it in 1937. I didn't think of it as a good candidate for acoustic standards but as i'm starting to run low on standards (already about 340 different ones already on the channel) then i'm trying out some other tunes. It was composed in 1935 by Freddy Taylor. I'm playing a 1958 D'Angelico New Yorker Special, trying to see how she sounds like with high action (hear AS#328 It could happen to you for lower action with same strings and pick :    • 1958 D'Angelico New Yorker Special 1000 - ...  ) The guitar is strung with Thomastik Flatwound strings gauge 11s, i'm using a Dunlop Gator 0.71mm pick and the sound is captured by both a AEA R84A active ribbon microphone and a Neumann TLM 103. I’m selling some cool guitars, more info on https://www.jazzguitar.be/forum/sale/... I still have room for a couple of student for online classes so hit me up if you're interested.
