The (Almost) Last Run of Santa Fe 3415
After being restored in 2009, Santa Fe 3415 would run on the Abilene & Smoky Valley Railroad for the next 13 years. At the end of the 2022 operating season, she would go down for the 1472-day inspection with the last operating day being October 2nd, 2022. I was fortunate enough to document her 1 day prior, on October 1st.
