Santa Fe 2926: Photo Shoot At The Railyards

Santa Fe 2926 had quite a few outings in 2024, and this one was a fun one to take part in. Lerro Photography hosted a yard photo shoot with the engine in October 2024 to allow patrons to shoot the locomotive at various times of the day. Although the track the engine operated on was short and didn't allow for very fast runbys, the crew managed to put on a great show for everyone. A last-minute surprise was the crew got permission from NMRX to move the locomotive to the Albuquerque Alvarado Transportation Center on the mainline for the remainder of the night shoot. Once there NMRX posed a Railrunner with 2926 and then allowed runbys the engine to perform runbys in front of the Alvarado building.
