C17 971 - Toowoomba to Warwick Cab Ride - 6/05/2022

On Friday 6th May 2022, the Southern Downs Steam Railway based in Warwick conveyed Scott McGregor's "Borderlands Steam Adventure" tour group on their final day of the tour from Warwick Railway Station to the historic Toowoomba Railway Station. After bidding farewell to the tour group, the locomotive was turned on the angle before rejoining the train for an empty transfer run back to Warwick. I joined the footplate crew with Drivers Stephen Shepherd and Adam Cole for the return journey where the train arrived just on dusk to complete what was a very enjoyable day.
