The opening of the trout season is the perfect time to search for beautiful brown trout with a float in the streams. Indeed, the large trout are stationary in the tributaries at the beginning of the season; they haven't yet made their way down. Float fishing is a rustic technique, but it's extremely effective. It involves presenting a natural bait in the current, without a float. It's a tactile fishing method, which requires an understanding of the waterways, and in particular the positioning of the fish. In this video, we catch the beautiful wild trout we're looking for, as well as rainbow trout and a chub. I'll take this opportunity to present the species of the day.
