With a dream of transforming schools, this educator, Master, and Doctor of Education dedicates herself to studying the unconditional right of all students to education at all levels. She emphasizes the importance of understanding inclusion as a process of "being with," not simply "being together," at both basic and higher education levels, placing respect for differences at the core of the issue of school inclusion. She is an educator, Master, and Doctor of Education from the Faculty of Education at the State University of Campinas, and a collaborating professor at the State University of Campinas. In the areas of research, teaching, and outreach, she dedicates herself to the unconditional right of all students to education at both basic and higher education levels. She is an Officer of the National Order of Educational Merit – a recognition of her contribution to Brazilian education.
