Edwin Selij, or actually ‘The Hypnosis King’, is a hypnotherapist. He is the founder of the largest hypnosis institute in the Netherlands and Europe. He is also one of the first to start teaching modern hypnotherapy in the Netherlands. Edwin is the author of the books: ‘How to Live the Longest Without Fear’, ‘Break Free’, and ‘You Don’t Have It, You Do It’. Edwin shared his perspective on our hypnotized and traumatized society with us. He explained that with his hypnotherapy, he essentially pulls people out of hypnosis. Out of the hypnosis of our upbringing, of our own thought patterns, and out of the hypnosis of what is happening on the world stage. We spoke about the impact of parenthood; about the beautiful mirrors children can be. About being the most healed version of yourself. Edwin also shared his views on spirituality and following your heart, and convinced us of the importance of realizing who you truly are. And that with the smallest smile to the neighbor, we already make the world a little more beautiful. The ripple effect. Edwin's mission is to pull everyone out of hypnosis. Because without the hypnosis that keeps us small, we will be able to realize how truly great we are! We found the conversation with Edwin to be incredibly pleasant and inspiring.
