FHP Action-Packed Pursuit Ends in Pit Maneuver | May 10, 2023

A collaborative effort between multiple law enforcement agencies in Florida led to the apprehension of two individuals suspected of carrying out a series of vehicle burglaries in Orlando and Tampa. The coordinated operation involved the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, Orange County Sheriff's Office, Pasco County Sheriff's Office, and the Florida Highway Patrol. Jacari Arnold, aged 36, and Devada Hines, also 36, were pursued by law enforcement after evading a traffic stop in Hillsborough County. The high-speed chase finally came to an end when the suspects were arrested in Pasco County on Wednesday, May 10, 2023. During the arrests, a significant quantity of evidence was discovered, including multiple purses, 15 Florida driver's licenses, a passport, and approximately 70 credit cards and gift cards. Both Arnold and Hines have been charged with burglary of a conveyance, possession of burglary tools, and eluding law enforcement at a high rate of speed.
