And most importantly, I want to say right away: it's not a matter of weak willpower or a lack of discipline. Every breakdown has a cause—physiological, emotional, or habitual. I'll explain why the body craves sweets more often in the evening, and how this is influenced by cortisol, serotonin, dopamine, fatigue, low blood sugar, skipping meals, and constant stress throughout the day. We'll explore why the "I eat almost nothing during the day and then hold on in the evening" strategy usually doesn't work, but instead leads to intense hunger, overeating, and guilt. In this video, I'll also explain three types of evening breakdowns: physical hunger, emotional hunger, and habitual hunger. You'll understand how to distinguish a genuine need from the desire to "eat away" stress, boredom, anxiety, or fatigue.
