A lightning-fast action by the driver of a security vehicle during mowing operations on the A32 near Akkrum saved the lives of at least two road workers. Agnes from Anna Paulowna was driving a barrier vehicle with a luminous arrow behind the mowers. In her rearview mirrors, she saw a concrete-loaded truck rapidly approaching. Without hesitation, she floored the accelerator and steered her arrow vehicle towards the verge. In doing so, she prevented the road workers from being hit. A massive crash followed, but a moment later, Agnes told her story completely calmly on camera.
