First Civil Air patrol Mission as Mission Scanner
This was my first Civil Air Patrol training mission as an aircrew member. The exercise today was to simulate an earthquake on the New Madrid fault line, our mission was follow US Highways 65, 60 and 67 from Branson, Mo to Springfield, Mo then to Poplar Bluff, Mo and finally ending in Farmington, Mo then we were to fly to Lee C. Fine (AIZ) just SE of the Lake Of The Ozarks for debriefing. After debriefing at AIZ we learned we were on standby for further mission tasking but after three hours we were told to stand down and return to base (FWB). Total time in flight was approx. 4.5 hours. November 2012 Camera: Nflightcam plus by contour
