During this video you will put together your first basic straight punch combinations and combinations working the lead hook punch, alongside producing basic lateral movement, but this time with an increased punch pace as well as increased punch volume. This training drill is designed enhance neurophysical learning and will reinforce muscle memory and reflex response by working at a reduced pace. This is to enable you to throw punches with good form, allows you to develop balance and weight transition through the punches and further develops your lateral movement. This beginner boxing training drill will work you at a 60% pace and will help further develop your muscle memory for your basic boxing stance, throwing single punches learnt so far and putting together your basic combinations. The combinations used with this training drill are a 1-2, 1-2-1, 2-1, 1-2-3, and a 2-3.
