Punch Bag Workouts | Level 1 Basics | Workout 1
This is a Level 1 Basics workout, to be used with a punch bag or heavy bag. The Punch Bag Workouts Level 1 Basics Series is designed in a way that it is both suitable for beginners or anyone who has a little more heavy bag workout experience, but is looking for a good structured workout to help them to reignite their skills and improve fitness. The Level 1 Basics Series provides a workout structure, coached by Trainer Dan Hayward that focuses on boxing basics in a progressive round by round format. It breaks down single punches, where you can develop and practice each punch and begin to learn the punch call out system. You will then move on to a simple level 1 punch combination, before moving into the final round that incorporates the single punches practised during the session alongside the punch combination practised, working the punches, but now in a random call outs. This helps to develop reflexes and response time as you will be firing out your shots on command and helps to progressively learn and respond to the punch call out numbers. Practising Basics can never be understated, and this provides a way of focusing on drilling each punch and combination in a structured, active punch bag workout, that will also help improve fitness. This heavy bag workout is great for starting your workout journey and excellent for anyone looking to get back into some regular training. Helping improve mental health, workout consistency and developing good boxing basics.
