Today we reach a major milestone on the farm as we sell off our first 1,000 beef cattle after raising them for the past 15 months! After investing countless hours harvesting feed, hauling silage, mixing rations and taking care of our growing herd, it's finally time to cash in and see if all of our hard work pays off. Using our fleet of livestock trailers and semi trucks, we spend the day hauling cattle back and forth to the livestock dealer as we sell off our oldest herd. But we're not slowing down after the sale! Every trip back from the livestock dealer brings another load of calves as we continue expanding the operation and work toward our goal of building a 5,000 head MEGA Beef Farm. By the end of the day we'll have sold all 1,000 of our finished cattle, earned a massive payday and expanded our herd to a total of 3,000 cattle! We also spend time restocking feed and straw for all of our cattle before turning our attention toward the upcoming Wheat harvest. To finish off the episode, we pull our two Case IH 9240 combines out of storage and begin opening up the headlands on our massive 200-acre Wheat field as harvest season officially gets underway!
