I BUILT A MASSIVE SETTLING POND FOR OUR $1,000,000 GOLD WASH PLANT! | Yukon Valley 16X | FS25 #17

Today we're taking on one of the biggest problems facing our growing mining operation. Over the past several episodes we've dramatically increased our gold production by upgrading equipment, expanding our processing facilities and improving efficiency across the entire mine. However, all of that extra production has created a new challenge as our tailings have begun piling up faster than ever before. To solve the problem once and for all, we'll be building a massive new settling pond for our $1,000,000 wash plant! This project requires us to completely reposition Slucifer, excavate a large runoff pond and redesign the entire area around the wash plant. Once the pond is complete, we'll test the new system and see if it can keep up with our growing gold production. We also take some time to get our finances in order by paying off over $1,700,000 worth of equipment debt, putting the mine in its strongest financial position yet. With the upgrades complete and the debt eliminated, we fire the operation back up and spend the rest of the day mining pay dirt from the Hillside Cut. By the end of the episode, we manage to completely fill Slucifer three separate times, haul multiple loads of gold concentrate back to the mining camp and keep both of our gold cleaning rooms and gold smelters running at full capacity as we continue stockpiling gold for a future payday!
