This is my 3rd and most likely final attempt, as I'll be on holiday soon and probably won't get another chance to squeeze in a run. The Frog is still running the standard gearing – 19T pinion and 49T spur. I do have a 20T pinion, but fitting it means splitting the gearbox, and I'm not sure I'll have time before I go away. A nice, clean run with 38 mph. I'm really pleased with that for what's essentially a stock Frog. It's getting on for double the speed it would have managed out of the box, so I'll definitely take that! There are a few little "speed secrets" I've used. From the videos I've seen, it looks like some people are doing similar things, while others aren't—it's hard to tell. There's one particular trick I'm especially pleased with. I won't be troubling the front of the STOCK Class leaderboard by any stretch—I'd imagine 50 mph or thereabouts could be the benchmark for the winning run—but it's been great fun taking part.
