Tamiya Thundershot Test Day! | Is 70MPH Possible?

The Thundershot 70 is out for its maiden run! No speed meter this time — today was all about making sure it goes, stops, and turns left and right… which it did very nicely! On the way home I didn’t film the car, but I found a big clear stretch of smooth road at my local disused runway. I eased into the power and got to about 3/4 throttle before backing off… and wow, did it move! At a guess, I’d say around 45mph. In the next video we’ll get the speed meter fitted and do a proper speed test run to see what we’re really dealing with. If you’d like to see that, please consider subscribing.
