Art or Book? Stitching a Wall Hanging Concertina of Vessels | Mono Prints on Paper

In this week’s video, I’m creating something that’s part handmade book, part wall-hanging artwork. Using seven 10cm black paper pages, each featuring a mono printed vessel drawing on torn newspaper, I layer and stitch the pages together to form a vertical, hanging concertina. Each page combines black paper, handmade paper, and torn edges for a textured, tactile finish — all joined with one continuous line of machine stitching that becomes both structure and decoration. Is it a book? Is it a wall piece? Maybe both!
