Making Without a Plan | Printmaking & Creative Reflection
After taking a long break from YouTube, I’m easing back into making videos in a gentler and less structured way. Rather than “how to” tutorials, I want these videos to feel more like quiet snapshots of creative life — sharing what I’m making, experimenting with, thinking about, and noticing along the way. In this video I revisit some drypoint printing in my kitchen using tetrapak, look through a few relief prints from a previous session and reflect on what’s working for me (and what isn’t). I also take you along on a walk through the countryside while I chat about my thoughts for the channel going forward. This one is less about finished outcomes and more about process, play, experimentation and creative thought. Thank you for being here and for encouraging this new direction for the channel. Mentioned in this video Buy one of my prints; THREE is an open series of hand printed jug forms. Each print is a composition of three different jug forms, unique in composition and by the nature of hand printing.
