132g Protein Goal on Mounjaro? Convenience Foods That Make It Easier

Trying to eat 132g of protein on Mounjaro or another GLP-1 when you’re not hungry is HARD. In this video, I’m sharing the high-protein convenience foods that help me get closer to my protein goals without perfect meal prep, obsessive tracking, or cooking all day. I’m on Mounjaro for type 2 diabetes, PCOS, insulin resistance, and slow weight loss, and my nutritionist recently raised my minimum protein goal to 132g a day. That sounds simple until appetite suppression is strong, work is stressful, blood sugar matters, and real life is still happening. This is not a perfect “what I eat in a day” video. These are realistic protein shortcuts I actually keep on hand, including easy grocery store foods, protein drinks, yogurt, chicken, bars, turkey, eggs, tuna, and other simple options that make eating enough protein feel more doable. I’m also sharing my Week 3 update on 12.5mg Mounjaro, my weigh-in, blood sugar update, appetite suppression, side effects, and my Week 4 injection. My protein goals are based on my own labs, health history, type 2 diabetes, PCOS, insulin resistance, perimenopause/menopause, and guidance from my doctor and nutritionist. Please work with your own medical team before deciding what protein goal is right for you. If you are on Mounjaro, Zepbound, Ozempic, Wegovy, or another GLP-1 and protein feels harder than people make it sound, you are definitely not alone. #Mounjaro #GLP1 #HighProtein 🐢 Welcome to Slow & Steady with Andi 💜 I’m Andi, 51 years old, living with type 2 diabetes and PCOS, and sharing my real-life health journey.
