ZOOM FLY SP - FIRST IMPRESSIONS

This is a shoe that I definitely slept on last year, but with recent price discounts and a likely Zoom Fly 2 update coming soon, I thought that this would be a perfect better-late-than-never shoe to try. I took the zoom fly sp for a test run along the Chicago Lakefront Trail for an 8 mile run at some brisker paces. This is definitely an interesting shoe that kind of has two distinct feels, depending on your pace. Around mile four or so, I definitely experienced what felt like bottoming out in the right foot, but that seems inconsistent for a shoe that so many people have loved for half marathon and marathon distance racing. So, I'm hoping that it's not going to be a deja vu experience for me and how I feel about the Epic React. Stay tuned for updates as I put in some more miles on this very interesting shoe.
