Nike Zoom Fly SP After 100 Miles

With today's 10 mile run, I cross the 100 mile threshold in the Zoom Fly SP. Initially, I only got the shoe because it was on sale and I thought it might be useful to have as a comparison point for the upcoming Flyknit Zoom Fly. The upcoming Flyknit Zoom Fly will feature React foam. And this version has a combination of Lunarlon and React. Overall, I thought I would be meh about the shoe. But overall, I'm starting to really like the shoe. It's a little bit stiffer than I'm used to and than what I prefer. But after a while, the odd toe dropoff has mellowed out. And my feet have gotten used to the relative lack of softness in the cushion. And I think I really like this shoe. At $150 retail, the shoe isn't exactly a value buy, but at a sale price of $75, this is a steal. The Zoom Fly SP is a better shoe than I was expecting. And I now have super high hopes for the Flyknit Zoom Fly (even if I don't particularly love React foam). Thanks for watching.
