This is essentially a continuation of the previous video about how this car wouldn't run diagnostics. The Check Engine light came on in the dashboard, but no one could connect the diagnostics tool and read the codes. After I regained access to the diagnostics tool, I connected the Launch x431 pro 3S scanner (and similar ones from Launch, Ediag, Kingbolen, Diagzon, Mucar, Autel, etc.) and was able to read the error codes in the engine block. There was only one error: P012D12: Pre-turbocharger pressure sensor short circuit to positive. This malfunction limited the car's power. The Launch scanner has a very useful feature for working with and diagnosing Mercedes vehicles, which indicates the location of faulty sensors or components and mechanisms that need to be checked. It also includes instructions for detailed, step-by-step diagnostics and repair of various faults. This feature helped me quickly identify, locate, and fix the problem. Afterward, the persistent error was successfully cleared, and the car returned to normal operation.
