世界の同性婚ができる国に行ってみた！タイ編　‘Traveling to a Marriage Equality Country ’ – Episode1: Thailand

オリジナルドキュメンタリー映画 「世界の同性婚ができる国に行ってみた！タイ編」 現在、同性婚が法制化された国と地域は40近く。同性婚は社会にどんな変化をもたらすのか？当事者は結婚をどう捉えてるのか？当事者カップルや街の人へのインタビューを現地で敢行。それぞれのカップルの普遍的な「愛」の物語や、国ごとのユニークな事情、さらに日本の今後にも役立つ知識など。リアルな声を元に、オリジナル・ドキュメンタリー映画「世界の同性婚ができる国に行ってみた！」を制作しました。 第1弾は、昨年1月に、アジアで3カ国目として同性婚を実現したタイ。 「微笑みの国」と言われるタイは、昔からLGBTQ+に寛容な国とされることが多いですが、実際にはどうなのでしょうか？警察官と会社員のインフルエンサー・ゲイカップル、30年以上連れ添った高齢レズビアンカップル、バンコク郊外の高級住宅地に暮らす年の差ゲイカップルの3組に加え、同性婚の法制化に尽力されたタイ政府の法務省高官へのインタビューや、多様な世代にリアルな現状を聞いたストリートインタビューなど。盛りだくさんの内容が30分にぎゅっと詰まっています！ 第2弾 台湾編：5月25日（月）公開予定 第3弾 ネパール編：6月1日（月）公開予定 お楽しみに！ Marriage For All Japan/Grindr for Equality共同制作 Original Documentary Movie ‘Traveling to a Marriage Equality Country ’ – Episode1: Thailand Currently nearly forty countries around the world have legalized same-sex marriage. How is society changing in those countries and how are people embracing marriage? At Marriage For All Japan, we have produced a set of original documentary movies entitled ‘Traveling to a Marriage Equality Country’. Through interviews with same-sex couples and people on the street, we were able to show the real lives and real voices of same-sex couples, sharing the sort of love stories we find everywhere, the specific context of each country, and lessons that will help Japan to be ready for a future with same-sex marriage. The first movie features Thailand, the third country to achieve same-sex marriage in Asia. Known as the ‘land of smiles’, Thailand has long been regarded as a tolerant country to LGBTQ+, but what is it actually like there? We interviewed a gay influencer couple - a policeman and a company employee - an elderly lesbian couple who have been together more than thirty years, and a gay couple with an age gap who live in an upmarket suburb of Bangkok. Further, a senior Thai government official tells us how she contributed to the legalization of same-sex marriage, while people on the street give us their personal views in response to our questions. All of this is packed into a 30 minute movie. Following the Thai movie, two more will be released: Taiwan on May 25th (Mon) Nepal on Jun 1st (Mon). We hope you enjoy them!
