ROCKY QUARRY One of the closest places to the town of Gukovo is the Rocky Quarry in the Kovalevsky rural settlement of the Krasnosulinsky District. Many years ago, slab stone was quarried here. Workers struck an underground natural spring, and the quarry quickly flooded. Now it's a beautiful, clean body of water, popular with residents of the Rostov Region. The steep eastern shore is especially picturesque. Swimming is not recommended here, but soaking your feet in the water or sunbathing is possible. The abundance of fish also makes fishing possible.
