Final Push To Gainesville #75

Good morning from Pennsylvania! In today's trucking vlog, we continue hauling a time-sensitive load south toward Gainesville, Georgia, with an 8:00 AM delivery appointment waiting for us the next morning. After spending the night parked in Pennsylvania, we hit the road with roughly 520 miles (840 km) ahead of us. The plan is simple: make it as far as possible, shut down for the night about an hour from the customer, and be ready for an early morning delivery. Along the way, we stop for a break at the former Usave Travel Plaza, discuss the day's route through the Appalachian Mountains, and roll through Asheville, North Carolina. While passing through the region, we reflect on the devastating impact of Hurricane Helene and the ongoing recovery efforts that continue to affect communities across western North Carolina. As the miles add up, we make our final push into Georgia and search for a safe place to park for the night. After changing plans and finding that our original parking location wasn't an option, we end up spending the night at a Walmart near Clayton, Georgia before getting ready for the final run to Gainesville the next morning.
