WYKŁAD CZWARTKOWY | Architekt Teodor Talowski – galicyjski Gaudi

This lecture on Teodor Talowski will explore one of the most distinguished architects of the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries in Galicia, the designer of, among other things, the design for Ignacy Korwin-Milewski's residence on Saint Catherine's Island. The extensive oeuvre of this artist, with his unique style, combining historicism with the emerging Art Nouveau, remains little known. The presentation of Talowski's architectural projects will showcase the extraordinary imagination, sense of humor, and individualism of this artist, known as the "Galician Gaudí." Lecturer: Tadeusz Bystrzak – artist, painter, sculptor, interior designer, graduate of the Faculty of Industrial Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. A passionate admirer of Teodor Talowski's work and author of a book dedicated to this distinguished architect, entitled "Gaudí."
