What does it feel like to move when the kitchen is finally finished and the construction site slowly transforms into a home? This moving vlog continues our journey with our new apartment, and today a lot is finally happening in the kitchen. I'm working at the LUUV Cafe first because it's so noisy at home with the drill, bathroom, and kitchen, and then I see how far my parents have come. My mom is hemming the IKEA curtains because they're too short for our high ceilings, and my dad is continuing the bathroom makeover with the sink, wooden countertop, and washing machine. There's also finally good news about the woodworm-infested floor in the bedroom, which has been repaired and repainted in oxblood red. In the kitchen, the upper cabinets are up, the refrigerator is working, and we're applying red adhesive tiles as a backsplash to match the countertop and the gray IKEA fronts we found on classifieds sites. After that, we're putting everything away in the kitchen, testing static cling film instead of dark Bauhaus mirror film, and applying more red adhesive tiles to the ugly kitchen floor.
