What's it like moving into a new apartment when the kitchen, wardrobe, birthday, and boxes all happen at once? Our move continues, and the apartment is still complete chaos, but finally, things are really happening. It's Samy's birthday, so we go out for breakfast, but we can't stop thinking about the countertop for our kitchen because we need to find a solution before Easter. Amidst the construction and empty rooms, I give him his scrapbook with over 90 pages, and we both completely lose ourselves. Afterward, our friends help us move everything from storage into the apartment, and suddenly there are boxes, kitchen parts, and clothes everywhere. We assemble the enormous Pax wardrobe, plan for a total of 8 meters of closet space, paint DIY dressers dark red, and continue working on our kitchen. The countertop is cut out, the refrigerator arrives, and after nine months living out of a suitcase, I can finally unpack my own clothes again.
