Bijoy Jain (1965) is the founder of Studio Mumbai. http://www.studiomumbai.com/ In this lecture he talks of precision and ''the decisive detail'', as well as the possibility of leaving timber construction for concrete and brick. It was given at the EPFL (École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne), on the 5th of May 2014 and is part of the Difficult Double, a series of lectures organised and curated by FORM, with the aim to discuss parallels, connections and architecture as collective knowledge in general.
