Yoshiharu Tsukamoto (Atelier Bow Wow) x Robert Venturi ; The Difficult Double

Yoshiharu Tsukamoto is an architect and educator from Tokyo; he leads Atelier Bow Wow. http://www.bow-wow.jp/ This lecture is about Robert Venturi's contribution to our knowledge on architectural form. Bow Wow's research on simple architectural codes, based on communication and general ''houseness'' is demonstrably very close to Venturi (& Scott Brown...). It was given at the EPFL (École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne), on the 17th of March 2014 and is part of the Difficult Double, a series of lectures organised and curated by FORM, with the aim to discuss parallels, connections and architecture as collective knowledge in general.
