This Damaged Roller Guide Almost Ruined the Entire Job
Today we’re putting the Norwood LM30 portable sawmill to the test after a major roller guide failure. My new replacement roller guide from Norwood finally arrived, but I quickly discovered the old roller guide bearings had destroyed the shaft, making the new part impossible to install. With a customer waiting on their lumber order, I had no choice but to reinstall an older roller guide and hope it would survive one last job.
