BikePacking with my Canoe - Adirondack Rail Trail Saint Regis Canoe Area
BikePacking the Adirondack Rail Trail with my Canoe. The Adirondack Rail Trail is a long anticipated concept to connect the mountain villages of Lake Placid, Saranac Lake and Tupper Lake in New York State. The trail cuts through the heart of Mountain Wilderness, the Saranac Lakes Wild Forest and the Saint Regis Canoe Area. Some of the prettiest landscapes you’ll find in the northeast. My journey picks up near the hamlet of Lake Clear, New York, along the edge of the Saint Regis Canoe Area and the Saranac Lakes Wild Forest. I’ve got my bike. I’ve got my canoe. I’ve got my hammock. Let's go! #explore #bikepacking #canoeing #adirondacks #solo #adventure *Please note that drones are not allowed to be launched in the High Peaks Wilderness or the Saint Regis Canoe Area. The drone shots used in this video were all shot outside the boundaries of these areas. Please fly responsibly and with courtesy to others who may be enjoying the outdoors.
