14-Day / 250km Solo Journey Across a Remote Wilderness
Follow me on a 250km solo expedition across the world’s largest wilderness canoe reserve. My journey begins with a two-day drive to a small community in Northern Ontario, Canada. From there, I board a train with my canoe and my gear, and an hour later I’m dropped off deep in the heart of the immense Wabakimi wilderness. With very little road access into this wilderness area, my only way out is to paddle and portage my canoe to my pre-arranged pick-up location. This was an incredible journey filled with wildlife, stunning campsites and breathtaking scenery. I hope that you enjoy coming along!
