The Frozen Autumn - Is Everything Real? (KD Remix 2026)

This is a fan-made and unofficial remix of the classic cold-wave track by Italy's finest The Frozen Autumn. The Frozen Autumn began in 1993 in Turn, Italy. "Is Everything Real?" features on The Frozen Autumn's third album called "Emotional Screening Device" released in 2002. https://www.discogs.com/master/447714... I first heard The Frozen Autumn probably about 16 years ago. I was perusing youtube for music in the darkwave genre that I'd not heard before and stumbled upon The Frozen Autumn. As soon as I heard "Is Everything Is Real?" I knew that I'd found kindred spirits. Also, when I heard "Dusk Is Like A Dagger" I realised that I wanted to find out more about them. If you like synthpop with a dark edge and you are not already familiar with The Frozen Autumn I would strongly recommend "Chirality" which is a classic dark synth album of the highest calibre. With regards this remix, for those of you that already know the original version of "Is Everything Real?", you will probably have realised that I have shortened it in some places. I have simply reduced the level of repetition in the bridge and the chorus. I wanted the remix to more compact and require less time from the listener. This has made the track just over 4 minutes as opposed to 6 minutes 57 seconds. The original is a fantastic song and still stands up well after more than 20 years.
