This is a fan-made remix of a hidden gem on Clan Of Xymox's first album. It is sung by Anka Wolbert who was in the band for many years in their earlier days until 1992. Anka Wolbert has such a distinctive voice which makes this song so unique and appealing to me. I recently heard this song while listening to music on Alexa and it reminded what a good song it was. Since then, I have been working on it in the background. For quite some time, I was not completely happy with it and I kept tweaking it and then coming back to it. Well, now I am pretty happy with it. I hope listeners will agree with me. I have done a dance/electronic version and I wanted to try to use sounds reminiscent of COX first two albums. According to AI, "7th Time" by Clan of Xymox was written by the band's original members: Ronny Moorings, Anka Wolbert, and Pieter Nooten. Pieter Nooten originated the chord structure, Anka Wolbert developed the song with her vocals, and Ronny Moorings played the bass, contributing to the song's development.
