North Moroccan Road Trip (Tangier to Chefchaouen)

Morocco has long been known as the ‘Gateway to Africa’ due to its proximity to Europe and historical significance as a crossroads of culture, education, and trade. This could not have been more true for us, as Morocco is the first country in Africa that we have visited. To explore this beautiful country, we thought a road trip was best. Starting in Tanger, and heading to Chefchaouen (the Blue City), Fes, Beni Mellal, and finally Marikesh–for the airport. After disembarking at the port in Tanger Med, the adventure begins in downtown Tanger. We get our bearings, pick up the car, and lose ourselves in the beautiful culture and landscapes of the Kingdom of Morocco.
