North Morocco Roadtrip: Chefchaouen to Fes (our hardest travel day ever)

To explore this beautiful country, we thought a road trip was best. Starting in Tanger, and heading to Chefchaouen (the Blue City), Fes, Beni Mellal, and finally Marikesh–for the airport. Morocco has long been known as the ‘Gateway to Africa’ due to its proximity to Europe and historical significance as a crossroads of culture, education, and trade. This could not have been more true for us, as Morocco is the first country in Africa that we have visited. Welcome to Part 2 of the adventure, taking us from Chefchaouen, through some travel drama, to the UNESCO heritage city of Fes. Along the way we encounter police, teenagers, and your local man on a motorcycle. This lighthearted adventure is full of Moroccan hospitality, unexpected turns, and good natured Collin & Mere humor. Enjoy!
