Police deployed to Saldanha Bay following protests
The Saldanha Bay Municipality on the West Coast says it will meet with community leaders from Diazville next week to continue discussions on their grievances. Rioters set alight several buildings, including the local civic centre, a clinic, and a holiday resort during service delivery protests. Various supermarkets in the area were also looted.
