Welcome - Presented by - Loutjie De Jongh
Loutjie De Jongh has over 40 years of experience in the plastics industry and started his career with Nampak in 1978. He held various positions at Nampak, including his career as Megapak MD. He started the Materials Handling business for Linpac, a British company with the goal of making the best large bin in the world, this was the birth of Mpact’s Jumbo Bin. After Linpac decided to exit the African market, the business was sold to Mondi and then to Mpact. Currently Loutjie is MPC’s MD, a position he has held for 20 years. Loutjie holds a BCom and an MBA from the University of Pretoria. He is also a board member of the Plastic Convertors Association of South Africa and former chairman of the Plastic Convertors Association of South Africa.
